Position:             Research and Evaluation Manager

Research and Evaluation Manager Description Responsibilities:

  • Supervise research and evaluation project teams.
  • Manage relationships with project clients, study participants, and other stakeholders.
  • Design evaluation projects including determination of research methodologies.
  • Conduct evaluation and research including participant recruitment, data collection, and analysis.
  • Write evaluation reports explaining results of analyses.
  • Present findings to clients.
  • Coach and support staff in developing evaluation skills and executing effectively on projects.

Research and Evaluation Manager Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD required,  preferably in applied psychology, education, economics, public health, social science, behavioral science, or research related field.
  • At least three years of experience supervising professional staff as direct reports required.
  • Expertise with both quantitative and qualitative methodologies and related analyses.
  • Experience as an evaluation principal investigator, preferably in education or public health.
  • Proficiency quantitative software such as STATA or SPSS and a qualitative software such as Dedoose, NVivo, or ATLAS.ti.
  • Experience managing virtual or remote teams is preferred.
  • Experience with study participant recruitment strategies for hard-to-reach populations is a plus.
  • Past performance in evaluating federally-sponsored programs is a plus.
  • Professional experience and relationships in Ohio are a plus.
  • Flexibility to travel up to 30% of time post- pandemic. May travel more if living outside of Greater Cincinnati.
