This year’s theme is Effective Storytelling. The focus is on providing attendees with methodologies, strategies, and other resources that will aid in the evaluative process. We encourage you to submit a proposal to share your best practice.

Within every program and project evaluation there is a story to tell. Learning how to effectively tell these stories though, can be a difficult challenge for evaluators of all experience levels. The OPEG 2018 Spring Exchange will provide insight into this challenge through the theme of “Effective Storytelling” and continue to provide evaluation professionals with technical evaluation resources in Ohio.

Join us this spring as we welcome several distinguished evaluation professionals to provide their insights on “Effective Storytelling” within program evaluation. We will hear from James W. Altschuld, Professor Emeritus of Education Studies at the Ohio State University and former OPEG president and our keynote speake. As a special guest, Leslie Goodyear, president of the American Evaluation Association and a nationally recognized expert in educational evaluation and president will provide opening remarks.

We also will learn from other evaluators across Ohio as they discuss their experiences with “Effective Storytelling” through their own program evaluations. So, let’s learn together and collectively enhance the field of evaluation here in Ohio through the theme of “Effective Storytelling” at this year’s OPEG 2018 Spring Exchange.
