Description of position: The Institute for Human Services, along with our statewide partners, was recently recognized nationally for developing the Ohio Child Welfare Training Program - one of the first and longest sustained competency-based child welfare training programs in the country. We are looking for an evaluation manager. One of your first priorities will be to learn about the challenges and opportunities of conducting learning intervention evaluation in a state-supervised, county administered child welfare system. You will report to the Assistant Director and join several teams on planning, developing, and piloting a variety of evaluation activities for child welfare staff and public child welfare foster parents. It will also be your responsibility to collect, analyze, and report data on the training system for federal and state authorities. You will be expected to remain current in research, best practices, and emerging trends in the areas of evaluation.
Education / experience requirements: Master’s degree in social work or a related field that included some statistics and/or program evaluation content
