OPEG Committees

OPEG is an all-volunteer organization so we depend on our members to plan and carry out activities that will help our colleagues be great evaluators.

Program Committee

Contact: Asli Buldum

Description: Plans and organizes the Spring Exchange and Fall Workshop and offers assistance with other activities. Includes determining meeting theme, reviewing members’ proposals for the Spring Exchange, selecting keynotes, deciding lunch menus, handling venue and materials preparation, and developing additional activities during these events.

Meetings: Occurs the first Thursday of every  month effective 2/1/18 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.  Also may occur on the third Thursday as needed.

Membership Committee

Contact: Natalie Wilson

Description: Recommends activities designed to recruit new members and engage existing members.

Meetings: Occurs every 9 week(s) on Wednesday effective 8/16/2017 until 6/27/2018 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM

Newsletter Committee

Contact: Cheryl Marcus

Description: Assist with writing and editing articles for the OPEG newsletters.

Meetings: Conference calls as needed and web site forums.

Description: Receives nominations from OPEG members for Board service and conducts the election process.

Meetings: None. Contact via e-mail and at OPEG meetings.

Description: Receives nominations for the Roberta O'Keefe Recognition Award for Outstanding Service to  OPEG and the OPEG Evaluation Recognition award.
