OPEG is an all-volunteer organization so we depend on our members to plan and carry out activities that will help our colleagues be great evaluators.

Program Committee

Description: Plans and organizes the Spring Exchange and Fall Workshop and offers assistance with other activities. Includes determining meeting theme, reviewing members’ proposals for the Spring Exchange, selecting keynotes, deciding lunch menus, handling venue and materials preparation, and developing additional activities during these events.

  • Connect with professionals who may be interested in joining OPEG
  • Facilitate the process of assigning volunteers to key areas
  • Encourage participation in periodic membership surveys

Membership Committee

Description: Recommends activities designed to recruit new members and engage existing members.

Awards and Elections

Description: Receives nominations from OPEG members for Board service and conducts the election process and nominations for the Roberta O'Keefe Recognition Award for Outstanding Service to  OPEG and the OPEG Evaluation Recognition award.

  • Notify OPEG members of upcoming election dates
  • Receive nominations from OPEG members for Board service

Newsletter Committee

Description: Assist with writing and editing articles for the OPEG newsletters.
